Dear Mr. Sharma,
Re: Your representation as a leader for Hindus in Canada
I act for the United Hindu Congress of Canada (hereinafter “My Clients”).
I am instructed that you have been proclaiming yourself as the leader of Hindus in Canada, and
claiming to represent Hindus in Canada and in Ontario.
It is my Client’s position that you do not represent 80% of Hindus in Canada, as you have stated
in the past, nor do you represent any significant amount of Hindu Temples in Canada or
As such my Clients are demanding that you cease and desist immediately from making the
1. From claiming to represent Canadian and/or Ontario Hindus to the media.
2. From claiming to be the representative of Hindus in Canada and/or Ontario.
3. From claiming to be the head of the Canadian Hindu Federation.
4. From falsely listing Temples as members of your federation.
5. From falsely claiming to represent over 80% of Hindus in Canada.
6. From all communication with governmental and non-governmental organization that
you are the agent and/or representative of Hindus in Canada. My clients are demanding that you resign forthwith from all organizations (agencies, boards,
committees, etc.) on which you claim to be the Hindu Community representative, until such
time when fair and transparent elections and/or nominations for these positions shall take
place. For this purpose, a joint meeting of representatives of any Hindu organization expressing
interest in this process shall be called at a convenient time and place.
If you should fail to cease and desist from the conducts and behavior listed above, my client will
not hesitate to bring an action against you in the Superior Court of Ontario to compel you to
cease and desist from making the forgoing assertions.
You will be ordered to pay my clients legal cost if they are successful in a court action against
Govern yourself accordingly.
